Dietitians in the Kitchen: A Culinary Workshop

Together, the chef and the dietitian stand to greatly increase the public's awareness of healthy eating and improve the quality and acceptance of foods prepared in cafeterias serving our most common clients. The Alabama Dietetic Association and Alabama School Nutrition Association invite you to attend a culinary-focused workshop for Dietitians in Alabama. During the workshop, dietitians will enjoy culinary demonstrations and discussions on the use of local produce and changing trends in dietetic professions. A tour of the US Foods Plant will be provided as well as a delicious lunch and the opportunity to network with other dietitians interested in the art of bringing healthier menus to their clients. Continuing education credits are available.
